Grits

My mother-in-laws recipe for "Gritz". She is of German heritage.

1 hog head and tongue - heart- some feet makes about 6 1/2 lbs of pork
4 1/2 lbs beef
2 lbs pin oats
salt
pepper

Cook all meat and grind
Add pin oats, salt and pepper
Mix well and bake in pans about 325 F for about 1 hr.
Don't let meat bake so it gets too crusty.
